Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on Monday that it built a state-of-the-art, seven-story flight control systems integration facility for the Defense Research and Development Organization in just 45 days.
The facility was inaugurated on March 17 by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
“The Larsen & Toubro Buildings Sector has set a record by constructing the state-of-the-art 7-story Flight Control System (FCS) Integration Facility for the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) in just 45 days using Integrated Hybrid Modular Construction Technology (IHMCT),” the company said in a statement.
This facility shows that India can build anything in a short time, said DRDO Chairman G Satheesh Reddy.
The project started on February 1, 2022 and the building was constructed on 1,30,000 square feet.
